Bragan Trello Card Listing Procedure and#

Checking#

  • First thing to check is the issue on the Trello card – if unsure ask for clarification
  • Once the issue has been checked on the link, also check the following things in the listing;

Inventory Title

  • Ebay Titles - Ensure characters are used (80 in total) with no duplicate keywords. For example, ‘Bull Bar Nudge Bar’ is incorrect - same amount of characters should be ‘Front Bull Nudge Bar’
  • Amazon Titles - We cannot have make, model and year details in Amazon listing title. We must ensure to put "Bragan" then part number (SKU #) and the product description
  • Website Titles - Shorter, but must explain the product clearly, less emphasis on keywords

eBay Configurator (Template)

  • Categories – only 1 should apply
  • Store categories
  • Double-check title, description, images (should be same as Inventory Product Details screen)

Magento Configurator (Template)

  • When selecting Configurator, select according to Vehicle category. (First number of SKU should always match number of magento configurator.)
  • Categories - all applicable
  • Double-check title, description, images (should be same as Inventory screen)

Product Details

Check all information on the listing is correct for the product

  • SKU Number: Refer to SKU Master File:

  • Ensure SKU is correct for new listings *watch out for outliers where we have two numbers for same model year e.g. Amarok 2016+ and Amarok 2016+ V6
  • K-Types must also include
  • Extended Properties – For specific changes (will display in bullet in Magento)
  • Magento Shipping Category to be included in Extended properties under “magento_shipping” with Value: Group B1 OR Group C,D,E etc. To determine what group to use look at what ebay configurator that very similar items were listed under.
  • If item has ALT composite, ALT configurator must be selected (ebay only)
  • For parent items – make sure supplier information is there

Composites must be correct for composite items, if unclear ask. ALT1 or ALT2 added also if required. K Types;(for Ebay compatibility) – ensure added and correct, correct years should reflect in the listing and add note if needed e.g. note for SWB / LWB etc.

  • ‘Not for SWB / LWB model etc., see other listings for LWB version’ Also be aware that some generation vehicles have variations which have keywords which must be in the listing title and description e.g. 2007-2014 BMW X6 is known as E71 / E72 variant so title should read ‘ To Fit 2007-2014 BMW X6 E71 E72 Aluminium Side Running Boards…’ etc. Composites must be correct for composite items, if unclear ask
  • Product Category must be selected

-Supplier – Name, Purchase Price, etc.

  • Price – purchase price/retail price e.g. if listing includes LEDs/spots price must reflect this
  • Model type (Colour, Wheel Base if applicable)
  • All specifications, measurements and features for product must be correct e.g. Roof rail length + distance between mounting points
  • Correct years for model
  • Crossover years in model must be clearly highlighted for customer to check against

(E.g. Please note - if your 4x4 is 2012 year, you need to ensure it is the 2012+ model (same as 2014) and not the older shape (same as 2010)

  • Products that have crossover years and product dimensions are written in description such as side bars / running boards / roof rails must also be clearly highlighted for customer to check (e.g. Please Note: Side bars will fit 2002 - 2014 models. If unsure of your model, ensure the length of your wheelbase matches the length of the bar)
  • If vehicle is crossover year and on Wikipedia model information is described as MK1 or MK2 etc. this info needs to be in title – ‘To Fit 2015+ Volvo XC90 MK2 Running Boards’ and also in description e.g. ‘Please note if your vehicle is 2015 year, you need to ensure it is the 2015+ MK2 model (same as 2017) and not the older shape MK1 (same as 2013)’
  • Items that are listed for a specific wheel base must have this clearly highlighted and must also have the wording included to allow translation – e.g. Fits SWB (Short Wheel Base) Model Only

Pictures

Make sure all pictures for listing are correct

  • Check if required pictures are uploaded (No watermarked pictures to be used)
  • Correct product shown
  • Check no pictures are missing e.g. picture showing product dimensions
  • No personal information showing in pictures such as vehicle registration etc.
  • Pictures are in order – the main picture is appropriate for listing
  • Old / bad pictures removed

Grammar / Spelling and General Information

  • Check for spelling mistakes
  • Make sure wording makes sense with nothing out of place – e.g. check the general paragraph doesn’t say it is a ‘high-quality product for your van’ when the item is for 4x4 – *USE THE WORD‘VEHICLE’INSTEAD OF VAN OR 4x4 FOR NEW LISTINGS
  • No reference to our email addresses or phone number in Ebay listings

Level

  • Stock – inventory count.
  • Ebay Channel requires at least 1 Stock to be able to update/create a listing.

Finding Information on Products

  • When unsure of product description, if it is general information can check similar items on website/Ebay or if it is more specific information ask Nigel/Liam through skype for clarification
  • Can also check other sellers for better information we need to include e.g. www.direct4x4.com - then check if correct with Liam / Nigel

When there are changes to be made to any listing

  • Add clear note onto link on Trello card stating what needs changed
  • Highlight in Trello card title changes needed and move card back to ‘To Do’ list
  • If same issue keeps happening, let Nigel & Liam know then create new card to fix this
  • When cards are ok – move to ‘Checked + Approved’ and move to top of list

*After listing check the links are working properly and if all needed details are reflecting.
