Purpose: Standard Operating Procedures are the clear and concise documents that will serve as the guiding principle in every task in this business. The purpose of this document is to outline to new and existing staff how to properly arrange item specifics in eBay.
Scope: This procedure applies to all Bragan Listing Personnel.
Responsibility: It is the responsibility of each employee to ensure the process set out in this procedure is followed.
Objective: The objective of this procedure is:
To guide employees on how to arrange item specifics in eBay so that the customers will see the top 5 most important things about our products in mobile view.
Process Flow#

Item specifics are arrange so that the customers will see the top 5 most important feature about our products in mobile view of eBay. The following are prioritized to be at the 5 top positions (most common) if available in the listing.
But for listing with Wheelbase, Cab Type, Voltage, Certification, these are more prioritized than Material. It should then be arrange as: Make, Included in sale, Wheelbase, Cab Type, Model, Voltage, Certification, Manufacturer, Material

- How to Arrange Item Specifics in eBay
Step 1.
Go to Linnworks, search for the SKU that you need to arrange the item specifics. Then select which eBay channel you want to arrange the item specific (eBay1 or eBay0). Left-click the eBay template and then select Edit EBAY listing(s).
Step 2. Click on the link button to open the live listing. Scroll down to go to Item Specifics so that you will have your guide on what and how many item specifics to add.
Step 3.
Go back to Linnworks then double click the quantity under the Specifications.
Step 4.
Highlight all values, delete them all and then add blank values on how many item specifics you will need to add in the listing and start to arrange it.
Step 5.
Check the positions of the item specifics that need to arrange on the website. Note: ISBN, Condition, UPC and EAN are not included in arrange item specific since these are automatically added by the system.
Step 6.
Then add the item specifics to the blank values, arrange them according to their correct positions on the website then click SAVE.
Step 7.
Click ‘Update’.
Step 8. Click the button to go to the website, refresh the website to see the update, and if the arrangement is now correct.
Note: Sometimes this method won't work in arranging item specifics in eBay. If this happens, try this alternative method.
- Alternative Method of Arranging Item Specifics
as of December 2, 2021 - this method is the current method of arranging Item Specifics in eBay.
Step 1 to Step 4#
Follow the same steps above.
Step 5.
Check the positions of the item specifics that need to arrange on the website. Note: ISBN, Condition, UPC and EAN are not included in arrange item specific since these are automatically added by the system.
Notice how the numbering of the item specifics changed. The top 5 are the only one numbered since these are the only one that needs to have proper placement.
Step 6.
Then add the item specifics to the blank values, arrange them according to their correct positions on the website. For blank values 6-15 you can type any of the remaining item specifics. Click SAVE.
Step 7 to Step 8#
Follow the same steps above.

RESOLUTION: Manually arrange item specifics and follow this sop on how to arrange.
