Overview#
Purpose: It is vital to get to use and be familiar with SKU BRA codes. Understanding SKU codes will be helpful to determine our product. The purpose of this document is to explain how to format and understand SKU BRA codes.
Scope: This procedure applies to all assigned Bragan CS Personnel.
Responsibility: It is the responsibility of each employee to ensure the process set out in this procedure is followed.
Objective: The objective of this procedure is to guide Bragan personnel to understand SKU BRA codes.
What is an SKU BRA code?#
SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is a product code that we are using to search and identify stock on hand from our list of products. Our entire product SKUs start with “BRA”. These codes are not just randomly chosen there are a method and reason behind all the BRA numbers.

How to create Bragan SKU code#
All SKU codes should be created/referenced from the SKU creator file above.
SKU will always start with "BRA"
BRA1 – LED Lights
BRA2 – Truck
BRA3 – Van
BRA4 – 4x4 (SUV, Pickup)
Sample SKU code is BRA48810 – for 2014+ Nissan Qashqai Roof Rails
BRA - Company
4 - 4x4
8 - Nissan
8 - Qashqai 2014+
10 - Roof Rails
Note: The different numbers can be fill-in then after. There are certain codes that represent different items.
Sample SKU code is BRA22121FL71W – for Roof Bar + LEDs + Jumbo Spotlights for a Volvo FH4 Globetrotter.
BRA22121FL71W#
BRA22121 simply represents a Roof Bar only for Volvo FH4 Globetrotter.
FL represents Flush LEDs
71W represents Jumbo Spotlights
There are individual items that make up this bar which is called composites.
It is vital to get used to the BRA numbers. For example, If a customer is ringing and gives the part number BRA22121 – which brings you to the plain roof bar but asks can he have it will be LED – you should know to just include FL at the end and that will show the bar with LEDs.

Where to see SKU code in live listing#
Please see the figure below to see where to locate the SKU code on the Magento website and eBay store.
On our Magento website, you can able to see SKU on the right side of the Retail Price”
In both eBay channels, you can able to see SKU in the item-specific section that says “Manufacturer Part Number”.
