Overview#

Purpose: Standard Operating Procedures are the clear and concise documents that will serve as the guiding principle in every task in this business. The purpose of this document is to show the SKU Code Formatting excel file as a guide when creating SKU Codes.

Scope: This procedure applies to all Bragan Listing Personnel.

Responsibility: It is the responsibility of each employee to ensure the process set out in this procedure is followed.

Objective: The objective of this file is to guide employees in creating/formatting SKU/BRA Codes.

For any incoming items that have requested to create a new SKU and supplier label from the procurement officer or management, you need to

  1. Add the new SKU in Linnworks, add details like supplier name, supplier code, and purchase price
  2. Created a new listing Trello card
  3. Add the SKU in the picture file request
  4. If there is no image available in the file received, you can also email suppliers for images and fitting guides and item specifications needed for new listings if not yet provided.

In creating Linnworks title for new items (during creating new sku codes), abbreviations are used.

ISW  is for  Iveco s-way

DXG is for Daf XG

SNG is for Scania new generation

Potential Issues:

1 - ISSUE ENCOUNTERED: Stuck on Loading

RESOLUTION: Refresh Browser

2 - ISSUE ENCOUNTERED: Broken Links

RESOLUTION: Get the external link as this will allow other people to access the SOP without the need for login credentials and avoid broken links.

3 - ISSUE ENCOUNTERED: Wrong SKU codes created

RESOLUTION: Ensure to check the SKU code formatting file and follow sop to create SKU codes.
