Overview#
Scope: The purpose of this document is to outline to new and existing staff how to use Catalog SKU Check.
Responsibility: It is the responsibility of each employee to ensure the process set out in this procedure is followed.
Objective: The objective is to standardize the use of Catalog SKU Check
Once you open the file from the dropbox link go to the following page to begin.
The highlighted part is the SKU for the item, copy and paste this into our website to check if the item exists.
check that the title is the same
you will note they are the same/similar, this is fine, move onto the next one. Continue for all items.
The majority of items will exist in the catalouge, you do not need to record these on an excel file.
I will show you an example of one that does not exist.
BRA3174 - no result, this item does not exist, you need to record this on your file, the title of the product, and the part number, in this case.
BRA3174 - Transit Courier Window Deflector.
That is all the instruction required.

Potential Issues:
1 - ISSUE ENCOUNTERED: Stuck on Loading
RESOLUTION: Refresh Browser
2 - ISSUE ENCOUNTERED: Broken Links
RESOLUTION: Get the external link as this will allow other people to access the SOP without the need for login credentials and avoid broken links.
